Auger Not Spinning |
Check the Belt: Take a look at the belt that drives the auger. You can find instructions on how to do this in your user manual (usually on page [14-16]). If the belt has slipped off, just follow the manual's guidance to put it back on track. Find your manual here, https://snowjoe.com/product-manuals Broken Belt?: If the belt is broken, don't worry! Just let us know, and we'll confirm the correct belt needed. |
Chute Not Turning |
Manual Crank Chute: We recommend manually moving the chute by hand and adding some WD-40 on the chute to make the cranking more easy. |
Self-Propelled Dual-Stage Battery Powered Snow Blower 24V-X4-SB24 |
Step 1: Check to see if the auger shaft is properly secured. At least once a season, remove the shear bolts from the auger shafts. Spray lubricant inside the shaft and around the bearings at each end of the shaft
Step 2: Check to see if shear bolts are tightened.
Step 3: Remove Batteries and place them back in the machine. Ensure you hear the batteries click when you insert them.
Step 4: Set all speed control to low
Step 5: Flip up the safety switch, then squeeze the auger trigger against the left-handle. The auger will start rotating and plowing snow. NOTE: Auger trigger should be engaged before drive trigger when throwing snow.
Step 6: Use the auger speed control lever to set a comfortable plowing speed
Step 7: Squeeze drive trigger against the right-handle and the snow blower will move. When the blower is moving steadily, you can release the drive trigger while keeping the auger trigger squeezed to maintain the snow blower's movement. Release the auger trigger and both the drive motion and plow motion will stop
IMPORTANT! DO NOT overload unit capacity by attempting to clear snow at too fast a rate. Use slow speed to clear deep or hard packed snow |
