Pressure Washer Troubleshooting

No Power

Step 1: Before we start, please make sure that the unit is unplugged from the power outlet.

Step 2: Connect Pressure Washer to Garden Hose + Turn on Water

Step 3:Machine should be off. Remove nozzle on wand by pulling back on quick connect 

Step 4: Pull the trigger and hold for 30 seconds to let any air out 

Step 5: Press reset button on cord. Plug it in and look for a red or green light on plug

Step 6: Attach a nozzle to the wand and power on the unit. Except for the Black Nozzle. 

Step 7: Attach a nozzle to the wand and power on the unit. Except for the Black Nozzle. 

Dispense Detergent 

The detergent dispensing method varies depending on the specific model of the Sun Joe machine.

Black Nozzle	Adjustable Nozzle	Foam Cannon
Ensure you are using the black nozzle if your unit came with one.  Dilute the Detergent 10:1 (Water : Detergent) Check Connections  Use Clean Out tool to remove debris from black nozzle	Set the adjustable nozzle to the low-pressure, fan-spray setting. Dilute the Detergent 10:1 (Water : Detergent) Pull the trigger to operate the unit. The liquid detergent will automatically mix with water and be discharged through the nozzle.  Video: Click Here	Press the wings of the foam cannon into the slot of the trigger gun Turn on the pressure washer. Pull the trigger to operate the unit. The liquid detergent will automatically mix with water and be discharged through the nozzle The foam volume can be adjusted from 0° to 45° by rotating the adjustable cap

Leaking

Wand or Trigger Gun	If you notice that your pressure washer is leaking from the wand or trigger gun, the cause could be damaged or worn-out O-rings.  O-rings are small, rubber rings that ensure a proper seal between different parts.  To fix the issue, you may need to replace the O-rings, and that should stop the leaks.
Hose Adapter	The hose adapter is the part that connects the garden hose to the pressure washer.  If the hose adapter is damaged or worn, it can cause leaks.

Attach + Detach Wand 

• Press Wand and Trigger Gun together until they meet 
• Push and twist Clockwise to attach 
• Push and twist Counterclockwise to detach

Remove Nozzle

• Turn the wand to the side, where you can see the brass collar on the wand.

• Place your thumb on one side and pointer finger on the other side and pull down on the collar.

• The nozzle should then pop off. Sometimes the tip will get stuck, we recommend you use a pair of pliers to remove it.
